Here’s a great article on the economic power of food. But once again assumes individual acts are more important than thinking of ways to change the entire system. Buying and eating organic or heirloom goods encourages others to do the same and drives down the price of these options. But why should we accept that we need to do this while living on the edge of the massively larger, “regular” food system that drops crums?
